Resident Evil, also known as the franchise that never dies, keeps on truckin’ with the announcement that the fourth installment in the series will be hitting theaters September 17, 2010. Shock Till You Drop got their hands on a memo being circulated at Sony Studios that states the intentions to get Resident Evil: Afterlife in production, most likely with Milla Jovovich returning as Alice and picking up where the last installment left off (if you remember, she and a bunch of her clones were ready to unleash the beast on Umbrella Corporation in Tokyo). And as long as Ashanti doesn’t come back from the dead to reprise her role from the last Resident Evil film, we’re alright with the fact that Jovovich will be returning to kick some zombie ass.
