Looks like fans of Baywatch will be able to watch all that slow-motion running on the big screen. According to Variety, Paramount is adapting Baywatch to be made into a motion picture, with writer Jeremy Garelick to both pen the script and direct the film. The rights, which were originally purchased for adaptation by DreamWorks back in 2005, allows Paramount to do whatever they wish with the lucrative franchise - and they’ve decided to go the comedy route. We’ll assume that it’ll be along the lines of similar non-comedy to comedy adaptions from TV like The Brady Bunch Movie, but we’re just happy at the prospect that David Hasselhoff and Pamela Anderson might get cameos. We all know they could use the work.
