In other MJ news, CNN reports that the King of Pop’s will, first written 7 years ago, has been filed in court, putting to rest all the speculation that’s been made on who would get what. According to the document, Jackson’s entire estate is bequeathed to the Michael Jackson Family Trust, with custody of his three children given to his mother Katherine Jackson. What’s interesting is that he nominated Diana Ross as the legal guardian of his children in the event that his mother was not alive, conveying just how tight the two had been when the cameras weren’t rolling. On top of that, MJ purposely left out his ex-wife Deborah Rowe Jackson, mother of his two oldest children. The kids have been temporarily placed under care of Katherine, but it’s soon to be determined in court whether or not she retains custody. While this is relatively big news in the aftermath of MJ’s death, we’re sure that there’s going to be a lot more to come, so keep your eyes peeled for further updates in the MJ saga.
