Looks like there’s life after The Game for the Mowry sisters. Lifetime has just picked up the rights to Tia and Tamera Mowry’s new flick Double Wedding, a film that follows the two as they fall in love with the same man (we’re guessing he can’t tell the difference between the two - this premise is all too familiar). The film is set to be directed by Craig Pryce (Are You Afraid of the Dark, Goosebumps - seriously) and produced by Automatic Pictures, with shooting to begin in September for a June 2010 air date. While this may sound like a dud by our standards (anything that graces Lifetime, for that matter, is a bust), at least the Mowry sisters will have something of substance to fall back on. That’s right - substance.
