A few months back, we reported that Jaden Smith (son of the great Will) would be starring in a remake of The Karate Kid, with Jackie Chan on board as his master. Now, we get our first look of what’s happening on the set, with new images surfacing of the officially re-titled Kung Fu Kid from location in China. And for those of you that don’t know, the film stars Jaden as Dre, a kid that travels to China with his mother (Taraji P. Henson) where he’s bullied by a bunch of local kids. When a handyman (Chan) catches wind of this injustice, he decides to take Dre under his wing and teach him the ways of martial arts so he can defend both himself and his honor.
