“Avatar” Coke Ad

Posting commercials is pretty much the sign that it’s a slow afternoon. Nonetheless, this creative ad for Avatar caught our eye, and we felt the need to share. Coke Zero, who apparently is on board to promote the film, just released this ad for the movie and their product, with a dude sitting down at his computer and opening up a sleek-looking Coke Zero bottle. But when his webcam captures him drinking it, it turns his screen into the Avatar world, with people jumping from trees and shooting arrows – two of which whiz by his head. This is cute and all, but the only question left to ask is, why would a dude be drinking a Coke and watching himself do it on his webcam? Weird narcissism right there.
