If you’ve got love for Larry David’s Curb Your Enthusiasm yet don’t want to pony up the money to pay for HBO, then here’s some good news. According to Variety, TV Land and TV Guide Network have jointly picked up the basic cable rights to the off-network syndicated run the series, with the TV Guide Network beginning to air the show in February and TV Land taking over airing rights in February 2013. The two networks also get certain broadband, wireless and VOD rights to the show, depending on when they’re broadcasting it. “Acquiring a series of this caliber truly underscores our commitment to defining TV Guide Network as a destination for some of the best shows on television.” said TV Guide Network prexy Ryan O’Hara. Looks like cable’s about to get funnier.
