Perhaps you’ve heard of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune, the highly rated video game available for PS3. If you’re one of the many who’s been sucked into the Uncharted vortex, then you’ll be happy to hear this. According to Latin Review, Sony Studios and producer Avi Arad are making the film adaptation of the game “a priority,” having nabbed writing duo Thomas Dean Donnelly and Joshua Oppenheimer (the upcoming Conan film) to pen the script for the film. The adaptation of Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune is expected to focus on fortune hunter Nathan Drake who goes on a quest to find El Dorado, the fabled South American golden city. Of course, he encounters a handful of obstacles along the way, but we imagine something good must become of it (after all, most movies have happy endings). Stay tuned for more updates on this one.
