It’s pretty much agreed that Live Nation is an evil force in the music industry, so we approach all news regarding the corporation with a little hesitancy. The latest in the Live Nation saga is that they’ve gone ahead and partnered with iTunes Music Store to sell exclusive live audio and video content, a move that allows them to sell audio that’s recorded in their concert venues. Artists featured in the deal include A Fine Frenzy, OK Go, Saving Abel, Hilary Duff, Jesse McCartney, Duffy, Ziggy Marley, the Bird and the Bee, Corinne Bailey Rae and Motley Crue’s Crue Fest, with downloads going for $7.99-$9.99 apiece. Guess you’re the winner here, but we’re onto you, Live Nation.
