Terror Squad, MIMS Top “One-Hit Wonders” List

Posted by ShowingOut On December - 7 - 2009

We’d hate to ever be included on this list, so luckily for us, we don’t make music - we just write about it. But it sucks to be any of the peeps whose name landed on Billboard’s One Hit-Wonders of 2000’s list (check it out here), which lists the top 10 artists that only managed to have one big hit and then subsequently fail to chart in the top 25 with any of their follow-up singles. In the top 10, Terror Squad landed at number two with “Lean Back,” coming in right behind Daniel Powter who sits at number one with his annoying hit “Bad Day.” Crazy Town landed at number three with “Butterfly,” while MIMS plopped at number four with “This is Why I’m Hot” and D4L capped the top five with “Laffy Taffy.” Elsewhere in the top 10, James Blunt was ranked at six with “You’re Beautiful,” while Gnarls Barkley’s “Crazy,” Blu Cantrell’s “Hit ‘Em Up Style,” Bo Bice’s “Inside Your Heaven” and Dream’s “He Loves You Not” came in seventh, eighth, ninth and tenth, respectively. Hit the jump to see the full list of this decade’s one-hit wonders.
