Ashanti’s been keeping it quiet for a while, especially since her last album flopped and she crawled to Broadway to hide in The Wiz. But now, she’s coming back in a very public way, with the announcement that Ashanti will be serving as executive producer on her very own music-based competition TV show. According to reports, she’s inked a development deal with Reveille LLC for her own reality show, upon which she’ll appear on a few episodes and do some work behind the scenes. “I’m excited about the opportunity to be working with Reveille LLC, one of the TV industry’s heavyweights,” said Ashanti. “I cant wait to begin production.” Meanwhile, she’s working on her fifth album - but if we had it our way, we’d just leave it at the reality show.
