We were hoping that the sequel to Wild Hogs would never see the light of day. After all, the first one was so atrocious that we’ve been trying to erase it from our memory since 2007. So lucky for us, it’s going to be easier to forget about it, because according to Variety, Wild Hogs 2: Bachelor Ride has been chucked in the trash. Apparently, the film was supposed to begin shooting this summer, with all four original actors (John Travolta, Tim Allen, Martin Lawrence and William H. Macy) reprising their roles from the original. But ever since Disney chief Rich Ross took over the studio reins, he’s been putting a stop to non-profit-yielding flicks like Wedding Banned and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. We’re thrilled he picked the right film to squash – it makes it that much easier to forgive Macy and Lawrence for appearing in the original (Allen and Travolta, on the other hand, we’re completely unsurprised.
