Last we heard from Boris Kodjoe, he was Twittering up a storm about shooting on the set of Resident Evil: Afterlife. Now, it looks as though he’s got a bit more to tweet about. According to THR’s Live Feed, Kodjoe just landed a high profile gig as star of J.J. Abrams’ NBC pilot Undercovers, a show that’s described as a mix between Mr. & Mrs. Smith and The Bourne Identity. The series focuses on a couple named Samantha and Steven (Kodjoe) Bloom, both of whom are spies under a CIA boss (Gerald McRaney, who’s the only other actor cast at this time). Abrams is currently deciding on whether or not he’s going to direct the pilot, for which he wrote the script with Josh Reims. Pay attention, folks - this one’s going to be a big one.
