Trailer Talk: El Segundo

Posted by ShowingOut On January - 11 - 2010

Here’s some indie goodness for you this morning. Above is the trailer for El Segundo, a film by Hank Jacobs that won Best Feature Film at the Black Earth Film Festival and made an official selection at the Cine Las Americas Film Festival and Santa Fe Film Festival. The film tells the story of a Tejano rancher (Pedro Armendariz, Jr. of Once Upon A Time In Mexico) in search of a bauble that grants its owner eternal life. Meanwhile, Sam (Hank Jacobs of Rounders), an oil rigger hired to find the jewel, realizes the power to help and destroy its owner as he falls for the rancher’s daughter Delicia (Alana De La Garza of Law & Order). Head over to the official website to find out how to get your mitts on this release.
