Remember when the Mortal Kombat franchise was getting the reboot? No? Well it was, with scribe Oren Uziel penning a script for the remake that Warner Bros. was looking to shoot this year. Now, it looks as though it ain’t happening as quickly as they’d hoped. According to The Wrap, Threshold Entertainment Inc. filed a breach of contract lawsuit against Warner Bros., claiming that, in spite of the fact that Threshold had a deal with Midway to develop a third movie, Warner Bros. has shut them out of production. Threshold states that Warner “failed to work with Threshold in the development and production of the third ‘Mortal Kombat’ film,” and has avoided them altogether. Sucks for all parties involved, but we can’t say we’re mad that this particular remake is getting tangled up in lawsuits.

I don’t think that Ed Boon is not going to be very happy about this
and i really don’t wanna talk about if Warner is keen to make the Mortal Kombat Larry Kasanoff should just talk to them and sign contract, this is just a total stuff up fuck the third MK movie.
Thank You.
